The Azeem Kayum Scholarship Fund
Many special needs students face two major challenges in their pursuit of a post-secondary education. The first challenge is to gain admission into college or university and the second relates to funding.
To assist special needs students currently enrolled in Seneca College’s Communication, Arts Radio Programme, the Kayum family established the Azeem Kayum Special Needs Education Scholarship in 2003.
This scholarship in the amount of $1,000 is awarded annually to a special needs student who demonstrates strong levels of determination, motivation and has the drive to succeed.
This Scholarship is administered by Seneca College and donations to this fund are fully tax deductible.
The selection of the winner is made primarily by the Head of the Faculty who advises both Seneca Foundation and the Kayum family accordingly.
